Crop Protection Monitor

The crop protection monitor has superseded the crop protection plan. As opposed to the crop protection plan, in which the planning was made beforehand, the crop protection monitor must keep track of the measures actually taken in the domain of integrated crop protection during the growing season. The crop protection monitor must be finalised within two months from the cultivation.

Using the crop protection monitor, growers register, among other things, the physical, organic and mechanical measures they have taken, such as deployment of organic control agents and mechanical weed control. In addition, they register their crop rotation plan, choice of varieties and basic material, efforts made to signal an increase of pest disease, emission-limiting measures as well as their choice of crop protection products.
